Partners at the University of Firenze and the Botanical Garden celebrated the first Taxonomy Recognition Day by highlighting the diversity of insects, with a main focus on pollinators. Researchers displayed some reference collections before inviting guests on a monitoring transect. 

The data collected along the transect was uploaded on iNaturalist, highlighting the importance of the citizen science approach in biodiversity monitoring and protection activities.
